I have worked at Driving Creek Railway since 2011 helping Barry to catalogue his impressive collection of New Zealand artwork, as well as his own work. We developed a cautious respect of each other, which has grown into friendship. RIP Barry Brickell (26 October 1935 – 23 January 2016).
On Wednesday there will be a public celebration of Barry’s life and work to be held at 1pm at Coromandel Area School Hall, Woollams Ave, Coromandel. I think the whole town will be there…
